1.7um Fortis C18 UHPLC Columns

Specially designed optimised small particle for use in ultra high pressure chromatography (UHPLC), optimise the operation of your Jasco X-LC(TM), Agilent 1290(R) or Acquity UPLC(R) system

1.7um UHPLC columns can be used in gaining resolution and sensitivity under the correct operating conditions, small particles will not lose efficiency even at higher linear velocity.  Whilst sensitivity will increase with the increased efficiency afforded by Fortis 1.7um particles in UHPLC. 

1.7um Fortis C18 UHPLC particles are fully scalable with Fortis C18 analytical 3um, 5um and 10um particles. The same exact surface area, 380m2/g is used for each Fortis particle size.  Transfer of methods is therefore guarenteed from UHPLC to HPLC.  This relatively high surface area means that the analyst can choose between higher peak capacity or a similar retention profile to currently available 1.7um particles.  If a similar retention profile is required then it is possible to use shorter Fortis C18 column which can also lead to lower backpressure for a given linear velocity.   

Available in several phase chemistries, C18, Diphenyl, HILIC and Cyano 1.7um Fortis can also provide selectivity as well as efficiency.
